About Us
The Vinton Guild of Fine Arts (VGFA) is a nonprofit organization that was established to support the visual fine arts and artists in Vinton and our nearby communities.

Our Mission:
To support and encourage area artists to
create, exhibit, share, & teach within the
community for the purpose of cultivating a
greater appreciation of the fine visual arts.
Our mission is fulfilled through:
-
Hosting classes, workshops, and guest speakers for artists and art lovers in the community.
-
Offering monthly fun activities for members to explore various art forms and media.
-
Organizing field trips to art galleries and shows.
-
Producing and/or facilitating the creation of public art works, such as downtown murals and the corn statues.
-
Contributing our time and artistic talents in the community and in cooperation with other local organizations, such as Virginia Gay Hospital fundraisers and classes in the local nursing homes.
-
Sharing artist information and artwork on our website, Facebook page, brochures, and other outlets.
-
Hosting or supporting art festivals, exhibits, and other special events, including participation in the annual Boomfest Arts & Crafts event.

Support Vinton Art!
Your time, talents, and financial support are all needed to make our area an active and vibrant community of fine arts. Volunteers to help out at events or with Guild operations are enthusiastically welcomed. And art patrons are invited to share donations in any amount, which will be used to support art awareness, education, and programs throughout the Benton County area.
