Vinton Library Murals
When the Director of Vinton's public library reached out to us in search of someone to paint a mural in the children's area, VGFA was quick to decide it was a project they would love to do. The theme was "Color my World", which flowed easily into a coloring book theme for the wall. The design starts from colored objects jumping from the page of a coloring book, and populating a coloring book world. We started in April 2021, and completed the first wall by mid June. We planed to be at it again in the fall for another wall, but it would be 2 years later. But it was worth the wait. Scroll down to see the phase 2 mural.
The Library hosted a reception to unveil our work. Fareway kindly donated the cake and even decorated it like our wall.

These are just a few photos of the 30 foot wall. Please visit the Vinton Library to see the entire wall.
Under the Sea
We merged two completely different themed murals together with the Bunny Beach.
Don't forget to look up on the ceiling.
There is a lot to see. We hope a generation or two will be able to enjoy our work.
We would like to thank Diamond Vogel and Keep Iowa Beautiful for the grant to supply the paint for this project.
