Projects
Hi! My name is Kandi (Wolfe) Tesar. I am 36 years old, and have been painting and drawing for as long as I could hold a pencil and paintbrush!! I took art classes is school, and a few art courses in college that held interest for me, but mostly, it's God given talent. My main focus is painting, but I also draw and sculpt. I absolutely love trying new things like stained glass, woodworking, etc... I've painted everything from small little 2"x4" canvases, to a giant 70' mural that wraps around 2 sides of a building. My normal choice for a canvas is just the cheap little bottles of stencil paint you can get anywhere. For building murals I just use outdoor house paint. I also lead art classes (though I did take a hiatus during Covid because I didn't want to be stuck in the middle of the heated mask wearing debates, that's a lose lose situation right there!) both at my place, and elsewhere. A fun fact about me, I am obsessed with goats. When at my place, if everyone in the class is interested, I have a couple of my goats wander around during class to make things even more interesting!! If that sounds like something you would like to check out, find my Facebook page @vangoatpainting. Hope to paint with you soon!

Name: 'Dolly'
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Board
Location: Currently hanging in the house of the lady who I bought Dolly from

Notes: When I bought Dolly, she only had one eye, her left eye, due to cancer and having to have the right eye removed. I never met her with 2 eyes. I had to reconstruct what I thought she would look like with the right eye in order to paint her like this
